‘Learning from Qatar’ is an online newspaper that intends to open a dialogue with experts from different fields about contemporary art and architecture in Qatar, its neighboring countries and the world.
These texts and conversations will reflect on the ideas described in the manifesto, such as the question of what can be learned from a society that appears to have developed outside of standard narratives of modernization. The texts will be counterbalanced with images by the artist Jan De Cock.
